Gail Cleveland has lived in Trenton since 1992, when she fulfilled her dream of living on the coast of Maine. She had embraced this dream ever since her childhood summers, spent living on a houseboat in Northeast Harbor on Mount Desert Island.

Besides her formal training, Gail has been a student of art and nature for over 30 years. Her award-winning paintings, expressive of her years of careful study, are included in numerous collections throughout the United States and Europe.

Maine's busy summer months find Gail managing Smart Studio in Northeast Harbor, on beautiful Mount Desert Island. During the winter months, she paints and teaches watercolor workshops. Her original paintings can be found at Smart Studio in Northeast Harbor, at Blue Hill Bay Gallery, and at The Whale's Rib on Cranberry Island. Gail also shows her work at Smart Studio in Boca Grande, Florida.
