We have carried John Walsh smallpipes for many years.
We like the precise workmanship, ease of tuning the reeds in various weather conditions, and beautiful tone.

A Smallpipe Mouthblown
This smallpipe is mouthblown, made from polypenco, and has a synthetic bag (velvet bag cover, color may vary). There are 3 drones: tenor A, bass A, and baritone E.
Mouthblown Smallpipe in the Key of A full and well-balanced with bass, baritone and tenor drones. Plastic Parts including the drone reeds which are "built into" each drone individually. 
Walsh Drone Adapter which enables easy access to the drone reeds.
Compact water trap in the blowpipe stock.   The distance on an A chanter from the top of the highest hole to the bottom of the bottom hole, and it is 6.25 inches.

D Smallpipe
 D Smallpipe
This smallpipe is mouthblown, made from polypenco, and has a synthetic bag (usually with green velvet bag cover).
There are 3 drones: tenor D, bass D, and baritone A.
Mouthblown Smallpipe in the Key of D full and well-balanced with bass, baritone and tenor drones. 
Plastic Parts including the drone reeds which are "built into" each drone individually. 
Walsh Drone Adapter which enables easy access to the drone reeds.
Compact water trap in the blowpipe stock. 
User friendly pipe chanter with slightly more spacing between the finger holes.
The chanter on the D smallpipes has very narrow spacing, like a D tinwhistle.  The distance on a D chanter from the top of the highest hole to the bottom of the bottom hole, and it is 5 inches.

This smallpipe is mouthblown, made from polypenco, and has a synthetic bag (velvet bag cover, color may vary).
It has Interchangeable A and D chanters.
Has four Drones: 
1 tenor D, 1 bass A, 1 convertible D/E (top turns to change from Bass D to baritone E), and 1 Baritone A. 
Drones tune to either DAD or AEA. 
Plastic Parts including the drone reeds which are "built into" each drone individually. 
Walsh Drone Adapter which enables easy access to the drone reeds.Compact water trap in the blowpipe stock. Ferrules may vary (stainless steel usually).
