| Off the beaten track, but still close to Bar Harbor and
Acadia National Park (25 mins by car), Marlboro by the Sea in Lamoine,
Maine, offers unparalleled vacation opportunities on the Acadian Coast.
A small borough in the town of Lamoine, Marlboro by the Sea is a quiet
community on the shores of Raccoon Cove. This property has belonged to
the Brown family whose roots have been in Lamoine for over 150 years.
The property is our summer home, and is offered for rental on a
weekly basis. The Maine Coast offers the visitor almost unlimited vacation opportunities: |

• Sightseeing in Acadia National Park and exploring the Maine coast.
Visit the working harbors of Manset and Southwest Harbor, or the
exclusive enclaves of Seal Harbor and Northeast Harbor. • Complete shopping facilities in Ellsworth, Maine (including discount outlets and antiques), 12 miles by car. Bar Harbor offers unique stores and boutiques from local artisans. • Enjoy the peaceful solitude of the rocky coast. Collect shells, starfish and sea urchins along the shore. Softshell clams and mussels abound along the tidal flats. • Day-trips to Blue Hill, Castine and Hancock offer some of the finest antique and pottery shopping in Down East Maine. • Finally, don't avoid the miniature golf, go carts, boats, lobster pounds and souvenir shops that can be found on the Trenton Road. Trenton has its own golf course and water park, and horse back riding or bicycles can be hired on the island |
